Long Term Disability (LTD) Insurance Options for Professional Firms

Professional LTD coverage from The Standard offers professional firms a range of product features and services tailored to their needs. Participants covered by Professional LTD are not subject to certain claim management features of our contract, as in a traditional plan. Professional LTD has a generous “or” definition of disability.

The LTD plan includes:

• 80 percent Assisted Living Benefit for severely disabled employees
• Reasonable Accommodation Expense Benefit
• Rehabilitation Plan Provision
• Return to Work Incentive
• Employee Assistance Program (groups with 15–2,500 covered employees)

Optional enhancements include:

• Annuity Contribution Benefit
• Family Care Expenses Adjustment
• Dependent Education Benefit
